Effective Date: 15 January 2025

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the WeVersity platform (WeVersity.org), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. These terms govern your use of the educational materials, communication tools, and certificates provided by WeVersity.org.

If you do not agree to these terms, please discontinue use of the platform immediately.

User Accounts

Registration is required to access our full course library. You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information during sign-up.
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • All activities that occur under your account.
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use.

Educational Content

All courses on WeVersity are provided for educational purposes. We strive to maintain high quality, but we do not guarantee employment or specific income levels as a result of taking our courses.

Skill-Based Learning Focus

WeVersity is a skills-based learning platform designed to support “Learn to Earn” outcomes. All courses and instructional content published on the platform must primarily focus on teaching transferable, practical skills that can be applied in real-world contexts such as employment, freelancing, business, communication, education, or personal productivity. Content that does not provide a clear skill-based learning outcome may be removed at the Platform’s discretion.

Courses may include references to cultural, philosophical, historical, or religious material only where such references are used as a framework to teach measurable and transferable skills (such as communication, leadership, teaching, language, or analytical skills). However, content that is purely devotional, ritualistic, ideological, or intended for religious instruction or persuasion without a skill-based learning outcome is not permitted.

WeVersity prohibits any content that promotes discrimination, hostility, or targeting of individuals or groups based on religion, belief, or other protected characteristics. The Platform reserves the right to review, approve, reject, or remove any course that does not comply with this policy or does not align with its educational and skill-development objectives.

Courses on WeVersity include both free courses and paid courses priced directly by the coaches or institutes who teach them. Financial aid and scholarships are available for students in need.

Revenue Share, Payouts & Refund Policy

WeVersity.org is operated by Cool Deeds Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Payouts and revenue distribution for coaches and member institutes strictly adhere to the following rules:

80% Share & Net Revenue Definition

Coaches and institutes keep 80% of net revenue on every sale. Net revenue is defined as the price the student actually pays after any discount code. Payment-processing and merchant fees are not deducted from the teacher’s share; they are paid directly out of WeVersity’s 20% operating share. (Example: $100 course, 10% discount code → student pays $90 net revenue → coach or institute receives $72, WeVersity retains $18 to run the school).

7-Day Refund Hold & $20 Minimum Withdrawal

Earnings clear after a 7-day hold (refund window). Once an account’s cleared balance reaches $20 or more, the coach or institute may withdraw their funds to their bank account at any time.

12-Month Rule for Unclaimed Balances

Balances not withdrawn within 12 months are automatically donated to the WeVersity educational scholarship fund to sponsor underprivileged students.

Scholarship Seats

Students admitted on financial aid pay $0, so the coach earns $0 on that seat. However, scholarship students count fully toward course enrollment numbers, reach, and verified student reviews.

Code of Conduct

To maintain a safe learning environment, you agree NOT to:

  • Post offensive, hateful, or discriminatory content in communities or Q&A.
  • Spam other users or instructors.
  • Attempt to scrape, hack, or disrupt the platform's infrastructure.
  • Misrepresent your identity or achievements.

Intellectual Property

The WeVersity name, logo, and original platform code are property of WeVersity.org. Course materials remain the property of their respective instructors; however, by uploading content, instructors grant WeVersity a perpetual, worldwide license to host and distribute the content for free to students.

Limitation of Liability

WeVersity provides the platform on an "as-is" basis. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from your use of the site or the information provided in courses.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any user account that violates these terms or engages in behavior that is detrimental to the WeVersity community.

Upon account termination, personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, including applicable retention periods and deletion rights.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal actions must be brought within that jurisdiction.

Dispute Resolution

We take all user feedback seriously and aim to resolve any issues as quickly as possible. If you have a complaint or dispute regarding our services, please follow these steps:

  • Step 1: Formal Complaint: Raise your complaint by emailing info@weversity.org or using our contact form. Please provide your account details and a clear description of the issue.
